As Mathew had foretold the sun had become fractionally smaller. If it hadn’t been looked for it may not have been apparent, but there was no doubt they were heading away. It was barely any cooler in real terms but morale was rising again, but it was a different feeling. Where once there had been a structure, there was now disorder.

  The crew had become casual in their duties. Andrew tried in every way he could to get everybody back to their jobs but nobody wanted to work for works sake, and those whose work was essential did only enough to ensure Earthrise functioned.

  With more people doing nothing they began to gravitate into groups. It was now that it was discovered one of the female crew was pregnant, and the father was one of the visitors.
